During Huang Long’s rapid progress on the Sea God’s Light stairs, she dismisses the idea that even a hundred-thousand-year soul beast in human form could match his monstrous cultivation speed. 8

Assessment Battle

Bo Saixi selects Sea Maiden, Sea Dragon, and Sea Ghost to assess Huang Long before allowing him to go to the mainland. Restricted to Soul Emperor-level strength and six soul skills, Sea Maiden uses Sound Barrier and Enthralling Illusory Sound against him. 10 11

Huang Long traps her in a cage formed from sand and seafloor mud before sending her flying with a dragon-claw strike. Despite this, the three Douluos’ assessment ends with Huang Long successfully enduring the required duration. 11 12

Mainland Escort
