Background / History

Flight and Bell Town

Ciri escaped the Aen Elle after they imprisoned her in their world and sought to exploit her bloodline. Injured, bloodied, and carrying her longsword, she collapsed at Victor's cottage in Bell Town. She concealed her identity under the name Falca until Victor's care and the town's acceptance allowed her to recover and live peacefully there for more than half a year. 4 5 158

A nightmare of Yennefer's torture forced Ciri to abandon that refuge. She confessed that she was a Cintran princess, a Source, and a traveler between worlds, then took Victor with her to Kaer Morhen. Believing her recent teleports gave her an advantage, she went to Stygga Castle to rescue Yennefer, only to be captured and tortured herself before Geralt's party arrived. Ciri ultimately faced the mercenary who had pursued her in a single duel. 5

Wandering Between Worlds

Following the violence at Rivia, Ciri carried Geralt and Yennefer through time and space and vanished from the Continent. The Wild Hunt later captured Yennefer, leaving Ciri to continue fleeing across worlds. 160 539

Her journeys included the “Gwent World,” where she intended to travel to Victor but arrived elsewhere, reinforcing that her destinations were unreliable. Return to the Continent

During her later return, Ciri and a masked elven mage appeared on Ard Skellig before the Wild Hunt forced them to flee. In Velen, she killed a werewolf, helped the Bloody Baron, and exhausted her magic fighting a cockatrice. In Novigrad, she rescued the Doppler Dudu from Whoreson Junior's gang before escaping through another portal when trapped between the gang and Temple Guard. 503 516

Back in Skellige, Skjall and Astrid sheltered her after she fell into the sea. When the Wild Hunt attacked Lofoten, Skjall escorted her to the shore to meet the elven mage; Ciri was later knocked unconscious and separated from both of them. 516

Ciri eventually returned safely to Kaer Morhen, where she and Victor reunited after years apart. 538

War Against the Wild Hunt

During the Battle of Kaer Morhen, Ciri refused to remain hidden and joined the defense with Gwyhyvar. She used Blink to cut down Wild Hunt soldiers and hounds, then later wounded Caranthir while rescuing Eskel from a killing blow. 542 543

She traveled with Geralt and Angoulême to Bald Mountain, where she confronted the Crones over their sacrifices of children. Ciri, Victor, and their allies subsequently defeated the Crones and the Wild Hunt forces there. 551 553 555
