Geralt was reportedly killed by a mob in Rivia after being struck with a pitchfork, while Yennefer supposedly died attempting to heal him. Ciri took both bodies away through Lake Eskalott. 10 He later explained that Ciri had revived him and Yennefer on an island before the Wild Hunt captured Yennefer, prompting him to pursue them. 160

He eventually returned to Kaer Morhen alive but with severe amnesia.
