The Original was stunned at the sight. "What is that?"
Toby said calmly, "As you can see, that's another Earth—the Earth where the mutants invading your universe came from."
"The reason they invaded your world was to destroy your Earth before theirs collided with it, preventing an incursion..."
The Original looked utterly bewildered. "You mean the two Earths are going to collide? Then... what do we do?"
After all, the Original Spider-Man had only handled street-level incidents before.
He had never even experienced a city-level invasion like the Chitauri attack.
Being forced to skip straight to a full-scale mutant invasion was bad enough.
Now he had to face a catastrophe involving two Earths colliding. He had absolutely no idea what to do, and his brain was practically crashing.
That was seriously too much to ask of a middle-aged Spider-Man, okay?
And when the little spider couldn't handle it, naturally, the big spider had to step in.
The Original scratched the back of his head and asked bashfully, "Um... boss, can you handle this? Maybe expel this Earth from our universe, like you expelled those invaders from another universe last time?"
But Toby shook his head. "Before, perhaps. Now, no."
"Huh?" The Original didn't quite understand.
Toby sighed. "I thought the crisis would happen around me, so I hadn't paid attention to what was happening in other universes. Only now, after coming to your universe and seeing another Earth on a collision course with yours, have I realized that guy's target wasn't me at all—or rather, wasn't just me. It was the entire Multiverse..."

Toby shook his head helplessly. "Simply put, it isn't just your world colliding with the mutants' world. The Timelines
