A day and a night later.

Norse and Golden Lion Shiki each sailed their own pirate ship to Long Ring Long Land.

By chance, Long Ring Long Land was experiencing one of its rare low tides, and countless herdsmen were in the midst of migrating.

Under normal circumstances, Long Ring Long Land was divided into ten islands by the sea. But once every year, there would be an extreme low tide. Then, under the influence of Water Seven's sea gods, the islands would return to their original form for several hours, like a sapphire-blue ring lost upon the sea.

The nomadic tribes on the islands seized this opportunity to relocate to the next island every three years. Only when the resources here had become abundant again would they seize that brief window to return.

It had to be said that the herdsmen of Long Ring Long Land had done exceptionally well when it came to ecological cycles.

"Are you pirates—?"

"Ah—? They're pirates—!"

"You aren't welcome here—!"

"Get back out to sea—!"

A group of migrating herdsmen happened to see the two pirate ships dock and come straight onto their island. They immediately began speaking in their drawn-out tones, putting on fierce expressions as they made it abundantly clear that pirates were not welcome to disrupt their current way of life.

As its name suggested, everything on Long Ring Long Land was remarkably elongated. The animals here were long and thin, and even the islanders spoke in drawn-out tones.

Outsiders generally found it difficult to accept and adapt to the way they spoke. If someone already irritated had to listen to them talk, they would probably want nothing more than to slap them twice and make them shut their drawn-out mouths.

"What do we do—?"

The herdsmen began looking at one another in confusion. They had been talking for so long, yet these pirates had not taken any of them seriously at all.

"What else can we do—? Shoot them with arrows—! We don't mean to take their lives—! We just want to drive them back to sea—!"

The herdsmen were quite bold. As they discussed it, they readied their special horse-herding arrows, each one long and slender. Just like Long Ring Long Land's name implied, everything here emphasized length!

"Hold this for me!"

Hancock suddenly stepped forward.

She took off her long crimson robe and handed it to Sonia beside her.

Then, her long and voluptuous body swayed forward and back. With a few slender fingers, she flicked the strands of black hair hanging by her ears. Her sweet, love-filled face turned toward all the migrating herdsmen, and she gave them a bewitching smile. Blinking her phoenix eyes beneath arched brows, she said:

"I am a woman as beautiful as a celestial fairy. What reason do you still have to drive us back out to sea?"

In that instant, an invisible force seemed to sweep over every herdsman.

They immediately fell into an irresistible, involuntary state of love. From then on, they obeyed Hancock's every word.

"Hmph! Nothing more than a bunch of beasts who reeked of hormones the moment they saw a woman, or a bunch of blind women struck by lovesick madness. Disgusting!"

On the other side, Golden Lion Shiki snorted coldly!

He was clearly quite disdainful of Hancock's methods and abilities.

He then chose a far more murderous method. In the instant his foot moved and his blades fell, dozens of sword qi slashed toward the herdsmen.

"Shiki, your actions are making me very unhappy."

Norse struck out at extreme speed to stop him, shattering every one of the sword qi attacks.

"Jihahahaha! Anything that displeases me deserves death. I am Golden Lion Shiki!" Shiki said dismissively.

When he saw Norse's angry expression, he became even more excited, as though his own joy was built upon the suffering of others.

"Come with me!"

Norse's expression turned completely cold, and the killing intent he released was bone-chilling.

If pirates were all defined as people like Shiki, then from this day onward, he would kill every one he encountered.

"Tsk tsk~~ I forgot to tell you, on land, I can kill you in minutes!"

Shiki stepped onto Sakura Ten and Withered Wood and followed after him.

Back when he had fought Garp and Sengoku, he had never backed down!

Did they really think he was afraid?

If not for the fact that the Float-Float Fruit gave him far too little leverage in the air, would he lack absolute confidence?

But things were different on the ground. Once he used his floating ability, everything on Long Ring Long Land could become part of his power.

"Unfortunately, I only need a few seconds!"

Norse replied coldly. He had never been this serious before.

Norse's strength was indeed terrifying.

However, because the Kuja Pirates' ship had previously been raised ten thousand meters into the sky, he had not dared to use his full strength against Golden Lion Shiki. He feared that if he failed to control his power properly, he might accidentally kill him.

Then the floating Kuja Pirates' ship would immediately plummet, and he would have no way to stop the tragedy of the ship being destroyed and everyone aboard dying.

Golden Lion Shiki stood atop it with his twin swords as the enormous thousand-mile stratum continuously separated from the island and rose into the air. Once it reached a certain height, Shiki withdrew the power of the Float-Float Fruit.

The rising stratum then fell like a meteor from the sky, crashing down toward Norse below.

"Demon Back!"

"Armament Haki!"

"Merciless Sun Power!"

Norse feared nothing. The muscles throughout his body were unleashed once more, and he even activated the power of the human Demon Back, his blood and vitality surging explosively.

Armament Haki covered his entire body as well. In each tightly clenched fist was a merciless sphere of sunlight, spinning in a west-to-east nuclear reaction pattern.

"Invincible Sun Fist!"

Standing on the ground, Norse threw a punch at the falling stratum overhead.

In the blink of an eye, countless golden Sun Fists flashed brilliantly. They became tangible attacks in the form of energy, striking the descending earth layer at the speed of light.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!!!"

The thousand-mile layer of earth falling from above erupted in continuous explosions, constantly being shattered and burned into ash.

"Aaaah!!!!"

Norse roared.

Sweat poured from him as he continued throwing punches beyond his limits. His punching speed had even reached dozens of Sun Fists per second.

Like this, the massive falling layer of earth was continuously destroyed. Before long, even its crashing momentum was forcibly halted at a certain altitude.

When Norse delivered his nine hundred and ninety-ninth punch—

The earth layer controlled by Golden Lion Shiki finally exploded all at once, and the destructive energy it released completely covered the entire area of Long Ring Long Land.

For a long while afterward, the sky was filled with rumbling that refused to fade.
