The gaunt old man said, "What can you teach him? His meditation method has never existed in our world. Can you capture a storm elemental for him, or give him a world filled with storms?"
The old man's sworn and earnest expression froze, and he no longer dared to speak.
That young man was simply too dazzling—a level-six before the age of thirty. He had only wanted to take him under his wing, never expecting his granduncle to have learned of him beforehand.
He thought for a moment, his tone weakening slightly. "Then... shall I ask first?"
The gaunt old man looked at him with bright eyes. "You may ask, but do not force him. That child, I estimate, is destined not to remain in our world for long. Do not create complications."
With a Hellhound by his side, his sights would certainly not remain fixed on this world. That was inevitable. If not for the shackles of family, the gaunt old man would not have wanted to stay in this world either. There were too many restraints.
Unless there were special circumstances, ordinary Wizards generally left this world once they reached level eight or nine, seeking a higher path. This was the consensus among Wizards.
Hearing this, the old man was somewhat stunned. He suddenly sighed. "Granduncle, you are right. I merely wanted him to contribute more to the family during the time he remains in this world."
The gaunt old man shook his head. "Is that necessary? His wife is from the Rhine Family, which makes her one of our royal house. He is already contributing to the empire. Do not let anyone beguile you."
The gaunt old man nodded, gave the old man a stern look, and then his figure faded away, vanishing from where he stood.
