Before long, Dole's face flushed red as he withdrew his mental power. His mental power was still not condensed enough.
The glow of his mental power gradually faded, and his vitality slowly receded, revealing Dole's exhausted face. Only a few minutes had passed, yet it felt as though he had fought someone for days and nights on end, giving it his all. He was utterly drained.
Standing behind Dole, Aixi gently supported his shoulders as the light in her eyes gradually dimmed.
Beside them, Aixi's avatar wrote furiously, filling page after page with countless words. Dole's avatar was recording as well, though he used mental power to store the information in a blank jade book nearby.
Dole took a breath, then turned to Aixi. "Though I didn't break through it, I still gained quite a bit. The force of magnetism is truly overbearing."
This meteorite from beyond the heavens had absolutely entered the ranks of rare eighth-level heavenly materials and earthly treasures. That outer layer of defense alone had nearly exhausted all his mental power, yet he still could not penetrate it.
Aixi was also surprised. She knew the strength of Dole's mental power—it was solidly at the seventh level—yet he could do nothing to a mere meteorite.
She nodded. "But we recorded the arrangement of the magnetic force and its trajectories. The electromagnetic power inside should be enough for us to study for a while. You're all right after that expenditure, aren't you?"
Dole nodded. His mind had recovered a little by now. He patted Aixi's shoulder to show that he was fine.
He did not actually need much time to study the data from this experiment. He would guide the people in those dreams to analyze it for him, sending all the data into those dreams. If each
