Crossing the Tribulation 1

Rumble, rumble, rumble.

The thunder matrix whirred, and the wind howled. At this moment, Dole had officially begun his confrontation with the heavenly tribulation.

Clouds collided, fierce winds shrieked, and lightning roared. The heavenly tribulation in the sky seemed enraged; the clouds descended, and red lightning continually struck down upon the Storm Domain—or, more precisely, upon Dole's location.

But it was useless. By the time that lightning passed through the clouds and the Storm Domain, it had already been absorbed by the Storm Domain and converted into its energy.

Heaven and earth grew even more furious, and streak after streak of lightning descended mercilessly from even higher in the sky.

Rumble.

Within the clouds and mist, bolt after bolt of lightning began to descend, striking toward where Dole stood.

Dole stood atop the wizard tower, watching the lightning crash down overhead without the slightest panic. The lightning's power was gradually increasing with time, but it still could not break through the Storm Domain. As he pushed the Storm Domain upward, he instead devoured quite a few tribulation bolts and grasped a considerable amount of energy related to the heavenly tribulation.

The heavenly tribulation was being weakened by him.

But the energy of the heavenly tribulation in the sky seemed to have already surpassed that of the ordinary natural world. After devouring several dozen bolts, he was almost unable to absorb any more.

Bolt after bolt of lightning descended, while waves of ferocious energy intertwined and bombarded the clouds, like an apocalyptic spectacle bizarrely unfolding within a world of darkness.

Within the North Plains Mountain Range, several level sevens simultaneously raised their heads and looked toward the range.

Dragon Bat, in particular, sprang from his hiding place with a whoosh, flying into the sky and looking toward Albis Mountain.
