Meng Bingyan was recognized as the Myriad Sword Sect’s most unquestioned genius since its founding. After awakening a mutated Ethereal Spirit Root, she manifested both the Formless Sword Heart and the Heaven-Burning World-Ashing Eye, prompting multiple reclusive ancestors to compete to accept her as a final disciple. She cultivated the Emotionless Sword Dao to peak Nascent Soul in only eight years and was personally granted the divine sword Pure Jun. 148

Seeking Blood Nightmare’s inner core and a treasure said to lie in its nest, Meng Bingyan secretly entered Dayless Mountain after receiving information from Huang Tianhua. She fought Blood Nightmare for half a month during its weakened period and nearly crippled it, but Huang Tianhua ambushed her afterward. He imprisoned her on an altar and intended to offer her as a sacrifice. 191 196
