Five spheres flew out in succession. Ruger had not launched them all at once; staggering them as they flew toward his opponent would make them harder to dodge. At the same time, he calculated that these little gray things flew a touch faster than a standard Fireball Spell.
He specified standard because many Wizard Apprentices modified their Fireball Spell to make it faster, even sacrificing some stability to emphasize its strength.
The Wizard opposite him was even more eager than those rats at the Inn, charging toward him at tremendous speed. She was exceptionally agile, twisting sharply to one side as the strong wind blew off her hat.
She was a short-haired female Wizard, and her eyes held that same icy look as she stared at Ruger.
