Background

Chen Mo transmigrates into the Future Saga timeline after the Z Fighters have died and Androids 17 and 18 have devastated Earth. Initially an ordinary human with a battle power of 5, he survives the destruction of West City by activating the Infinite Kaio-ken System and using Double Kaio-ken to escape Android 18 after kissing her. 1 10

The system grows only by collecting Android 18's emotional energy. Chen Mo quickly recognizes that direct strength is impossible at his level, so he uses information about Lazuli's past, Dr. Gero's laboratory, Cell, and the android shutdown remote as leverage to make himself too useful for Android 18 to kill. 2 3

Seeking a real martial foundation for the Kaio-ken, he leaves a survivor shelter and travels toward Master Roshi. Yajirobe saves him from Cyborg Tao Pai Pai and later provides a scanner and a Senzu Bean, allowing Chen Mo to continue toward Kame House Island. 4 5 7
