Background / History

The Sixth Universe is portrayed as having remained unchanged for too long under Champa's neglect. Chen Feng describes its God of Destruction as focused on food rather than balance or development, while Vados remains an observer who does not intervene on her own initiative. Chen Feng considers the universe stagnant and seeks to gather its disparate powers under his rule. 10

After defeating Hit, Chen Feng begins consolidating the universe around Planet Sadala. His stated plan is to unite the Saiyans, Frost's interstellar power and technology, scattered Namekians, and Hit's mastery of time into a single force before eventually challenging Universe Seven. 10 11

Champa's attempt to erase Planet Sadala reveals that the protection extends beyond the Saiyan homeworld. Vados's scan finds that all native inhabitants of the Sixth Universe are covered by an undetectable force; destruction energy disperses harmlessly when it approaches them. Neither Vados nor Champa can identify its source, form, or energy signature. 24 25

Chen Feng later reinforces the universe's spatial structure himself to contain the collateral damage from his battle with Vados. He also claims a resonance with the universe's origin and laws, declaring an ambition to unify all twelve universes. 42 46

• Saiyans of Planet Sadala — A thriving Saiyan civilization with a homeland, organized society, and major warriors including Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale. Unlike the Seventh Universe's Saiyans, they have not faced extinction. 9 64

Relationship with Universe Seven

Chen Feng views Universe Seven as both a model of fierce growth and a future rival. He is particularly interested in Son Goku and Vegeta, whose repeated breakthroughs beyond divine limits inspire his desire for stronger conflicts. 10 56

The two universes participate in a five-versus-five Martial Arts Tournament of Friendship and Competition. The Sixth Universe's lineup is Frost, Cabba, Caulifla, Hit, and Chen Feng; the Seventh Universe fields Piccolo, Vegeta, Majin Buu, Son Goku, and Monaka. 75 76

The tournament is held on a nameless world in a buffer zone between the two universes. Vados transports the Sixth Universe delegation aboard the Universe Cube. 56 62 63
