Background / History

Vados initially serves as the calm, detached attendant of Champa, the Sixth Universe's God of Destruction. While Champa focuses on food and his planned contest with Universe 7, she detects Chen Feng's extraordinary aura on Planet Sadala and recognizes his unusual ability to consolidate the strength of Saiyans and other races. She also cautions Champa that Son Goku and Vegeta may threaten his plans. 11

When she and Champa approach Planet Sadala, Vados senses several powerful life energies and an especially unfathomable presence. Her intuition warns that Sadala's ruler will not be as compliant as Champa expects, and she encourages Champa to hear Chen Feng's proposal rather than force an immediate confrontation. 15 16

During Champa's assault on Sadala, Vados initially remains an observer. When Champa's destruction energy is neutralized, she investigates with her staff and confirms that the protection extends across the entire Sixth Universe. Unable to identify a source, form, or energy signature for the force, she is left deeply puzzled. 24 25

Chen Feng's effortless suppression of Champa's power leaves Vados unable to assess him through Angelic senses. His lack of measurable aura and his ability to exist unprotected in space make her regard him as something beyond her usual understanding of living beings. 26

After Chen Feng overwhelms Champa, Vados intervenes to prevent a fatal strike. Bound by her responsibility to protect her God of Destruction, she accepts Chen Feng's challenge after mediation fails. 35 36 37

Vados battles Chen Feng in space, initially controlling the exchange with Angel-level Ultra Instinct and the Angel Staff. As Chen Feng escalates through increasingly powerful forms and adapts to her evasions, she is forced to push Ultra Instinct to its limit. Chen Feng ultimately exploits a brief delay in her reactions, inflicts severe injuries, and forces her to concede. 38 43 49 52

Following her defeat, Vados tells Chen Feng that she does not wish to be his enemy and declares that Champa's life and death are for Chen Feng to decide. Vados is a tall, graceful angel with long silver-white hair and a composed, unreadable expression. She wears pristine white, cheongsam-style angelic attire and carries a silver staff crowned by a crystal orb. 11 14
