Background / History

Tang Hao had left the Clear Sky Sect by the time he encountered Mo Jia near Heaven Dou City, identifying himself as no longer belonging to the sect. He was a level 95 Titled Douluo with a hundred-thousand-year ninth soul ring, but longstanding injuries restricted his usual combat output to approximately level 94. His clash with Mo Jia left him with further abdominal injuries. 52

He secretly watched over his son, Tang San, for years. After Tang San's graduation from Shrek Academy, Tang Hao took him away to personally train him, focusing on the Clear Sky Hammer and practical combat. 96 128

Over two and a half years, Tang Hao drilled Tang San in the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique, repeatedly stressing that tournament experience was not equivalent to life-or-death combat. He exposed Tang San to his own killing intent, then sent him toward Slaughter City so that he could develop the intent necessary for genuine combat. 128 129
