Background / History

Wang Sheng initially ruled Seventh Dormitory through strength, declaring that only he was suited to be its boss. When Ao Yin entered the dormitory, Wang Sheng demanded that he follow his rules and challenged him after being refused. Ao Yin defeated him in a single palm strike without revealing his martial soul, after which Wang Sheng immediately yielded the boss position and introduced him to the dormitory as “Boss Ao.” 13

After Ao Yin defeated Xiao Wu as well, Wang Sheng and the other residents formally accepted Ao Yin as Seventh Dormitory's boss. Wang Sheng became notably attentive to both Ao Yin and Xiao Wu, offering his bedding when they lacked blankets. 14 15

When Tang San was assigned to Seventh Dormitory, Wang Sheng arranged his remaining bed by the toilet, explaining that it was the only space left. He argued with Tang San when Tang San accused him of bullying, then joined the other dorm members in supporting Ao Yin during the ensuing conflict. 17

Wang Sheng accompanied Ao Yin and Xiao Wu to the academy cafeteria. Initially intimidated by noble students and worried about meal costs and property damage, he witnessed Ao Yin pay for the food and compensation himself. This deepened Wang Sheng's belief that Ao Yin was an extraordinary figure rather than an ordinary work-study student. 19

When upperclassmen bullied Seventh Dormitory during Ao Yin's absence, Wang Sheng and the dorm members sought Ao Yin's help. He later gave Ao Yin an extravagant public introduction as Notting Academy's true number one, helping rally Seventh Dormitory behind him against Xiao Chenyu's group. 30 31

Wang Sheng values strength above all else. He initially tried to establish authority over Seventh Dormitory, but immediately accepted Ao Yin's leadership after being decisively defeated. 13

He is socially perceptive and eager to please powerful allies. He offers practical help, such as bedding, directions, and assistance with dormitory matters, while openly admiring Ao Yin's strength and appearance. 14 15 18

Although easily intimidated by noble students and stronger opponents, Wang Sheng becomes more confident when supported by Ao Yin and Xiao Wu. 19 32
