Dai Mubai was Shrek Academy's leading student and a prince of the Star Luo Empire. Before Ao Yin's arrival, he had never lost to a peer and had grown accustomed to being regarded as Shrek's boss and one of Suotuo City's foremost young talents 38.

He first encountered Ao Yin at Rose Hotel, where he arrived expecting to claim a reserved romantic room. When Ao Yin refused to yield—and demonstrated greater wealth and Soul Power—Dai Mubai escalated the dispute into a duel 35.

Although Dai Mubai revealed his full strength as a level 37 Evil-Eyed White Tiger Battle Soul Elder, Ao Yin neutralized his White Tiger Fierce Light Wave, broke his defensive barrier, and defeated him despite his White Tiger Vajra Transformation 36 37. Dai Mubai initially rejected the wager requiring him to call Ao Yin “Big Brother,” but reconsidered after recognizing that Ao Yin had spared his dignity and compensated the hotel for the battle damage.
