Background / History
Tang San studied under Yu Xiaogang at Notting Junior Soul Master Academy. He was born with Innate Full Soul Power and Twin Martial Souls, and his discipline at eight years old convinced Yu Xiaogang that he could one day stand at the pinnacle of the continent’s soul masters. After acquiring a 700-year Ghost Vine as his second soul ring, Tang San continued developing as a control-system Soul Master. 49
At Shrek Academy, Tang San reached level 30 and joined the hunt for his third soul ring. While pursuing the Titan Giant Ape after Xiao Wu was taken, he encountered a Man Faced Demon Spider; Li Hanche killed the beast and took its soul ring first. Tang San later absorbed a Man Faced Demon Spider soul ring, but failed to gain the External Soul Bone he expected. 86 87
Li Hanche’s repeated interference became a defining obstacle in Tang San’s growth. Tang San defended Yu Xiaogang when Li Hanche publicly humiliated him, but Tang San’s hidden weapons proved ineffective; Li Hanche defeated and injured him, freezing him to a wall with an ice needle. The defeat left Tang San aware of the enormous gap between them, and he doubled his training afterward. 95 97 105
Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls—Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer—became publicly known. Titan recognized him as Tang Hao’s son after Tang San revealed both martial souls under pressure, while Tang San later reunited with Tang Hao during Li Hanche’s confrontation with the Shrek group. 118 144 165
During the qualifying matches, Tang San openly wielded the Clear Sky Hammer and used the Tang Sect’s ultimate arts alongside his Blue Silver Grass. Under Tang Hao’s instruction, he learned the opening stance and core method of the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer, helping Shrek rise to second place in the individual rankings and qualify for the next round. 181
Personality
Tang San is diligent, disciplined, and persistent in cultivation. Defeat and disappointment do not cause him to give up; after being overwhelmed by Li Hanche and failing to obtain an External Soul Bone, he focused on closing the gap through harder training. 82 87 105
He is intensely loyal to Yu Xiaogang, repeatedly defending his teacher despite the personal danger. Tang San also shows deep devotion to Xiao Wu, immediately pursuing the Titan Giant Ape after it abducted her and accepting her decision to stand beside him against Li Hanche. 86 89 144
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang San possesses Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. His Blue Silver Grass is regarded as a useless martial soul by conventional standards, while the Clear Sky Hammer is the top-tier martial soul associated with his Innate Full Soul Power. 118 165
- Blue Silver Grass — His primary control-system martial soul. 49
- Clear Sky Hammer — A powerful second martial soul revealed publicly during his encounter with Titan. 165
- Twin Martial Soul cultivation — Yu Xiaogang claims to know how to cultivate Tang San’s dual-martial-soul path, though his reliability is questioned by the narrative. 181
Ghost Vine Parasitism
Tang San’s second soul ring comes from a 700-year Ghost Vine.
