Background / History

Following the great change in heaven and earth, descending starlight altered Earth and created distorted regions where ordinary technology malfunctions. Star Power Bombs cannot detonate within these zones; their energy instead dissipates into the warped space. 102

Modern martial arts, energy resources, and major factions are built around Star Power. High-rank Star Stones are considered strategically valuable because civilization depends upon this energy. 143

Star Demons also cultivate through Star Power. They are extraterrestrial lifeforms that encountered opportunities allowing them to absorb it, grow stronger, and acquire fragments of martial arts. 282

Nature and Cultivation

Storage and circulation

Star Power cultivated from different martial arts may occupy separate regions within the dantian while remaining mutually connected. Jiang Changkong's Copper Skin Iron Bone Technique, Blazing Fire Art, Taiji Fist Classic, and Traceless Three Blades each produce a distinct stream, which he can split apart or combine at will. 61

At the Star Gate level, blood and qi, Star Power, and the soul are stored within the Star Gates collectively known as the Star Treasury. Star Power passes through these gates before circulating through the body. 132

At the Star Spirit level, Star Power and the soul merge. This grants exceptionally precise control: a martial artist can direct power as naturally as pointing, including altering the path of an attack in flight. A deceased Star Spirit martial artist's remaining soul power may still wield Star Power in retaliation. 56

Attributes and martial arts

Different martial arts cultivate different forms of Star Power, including force-pattern, lunar, solar, Taiji, soul, saber, and white-cloud powers. At the Stellar Realm, these powers can condense into internal stars that revolve around the cultivator's soul. 327

Attribute-less martial arts can accept other forms of Star Power. Jiang Changkong can use Taiyin Star Power with the Tyrant Saber because the saber art does not reject differing attributes. 343

The Spirit Controlling Formula can control Star Power and natural attributes such as water and fire. When paired with Traceless Three Blades, its earlier form, the Telekinesis Art, allows a blade to be remotely directed through Star Power. 90 98

Star arrays

Star arrays govern the routes through which Star Power circulates. For Star Body martial artists, these routes strengthen the internal star and help form special constitutions. 339

Star Script and linked star arrays imitate and alter the operating routes of natural forces, allowing a cultivator to weaken, strengthen, or explosively release those forces in forms the human body can bear. 340

Inscribing star arrays can enhance Star Power directly. Jiang Changkong's Lunar Battle Body array allows him to instinctively merge Lunar and Solar Star Power, while later inscriptions increase his Force Pattern and Taiyin Great Dao imprints. 350 360

Properties and Limitations

Condensation and quality

At a later soul-integrated stage, Jiang Changkong's Star Power increases in both volume and quality: a single drop becomes worth ten of its former value and fuses with his soul body, responding as though it were part of himself. 190

A drop of water or ray of sunlight can contain heavily compressed Star Power. However, repeatedly compressing one's own power is dangerous: the body may be unable to bear the pressure, causing self-injury instead of greater combat power. 345

The higher principle Jiang Changkong seeks is not simple compression, but making each particle of Star Power contain a star array and the Stellar Great Dao. 348 359

Concealment and detection
