Flowing Wind Shuang is the daughter of Flowing Wind Xishan and a princess of the Flowing Wind Clan. At only nine years old, she was already nearly five feet tall, unusually composed, and recognized as a military genius. Her timely support during Xishan's disastrous battle helped prevent his death on the field 50.

While urgently seeking treatment for her grievously wounded father, Shuang encountered Lin Junyu, then using the name Lin Wu. He treated Xishan and earned her heartfelt gratitude; she credited him with saving the entire Flowing Wind Clan 51.
