Lin Junyu is the third son of Lin Huang, the eleventh Emperor of the Luminous Empire. Lin Junyu begins as the disregarded third prince at Jiashan Fortress, then reveals his hidden martial talent and turns the demon war through leadership of the Feather Forest Army. His killing of Shaluoluo establishes his reputation as the Luminous Empire’s War God. 1 4 19 27

After breaking through the demon defenses and killing Shaluoluo, Lin Junyu and his surviving troops continue to face the God Guards until Fang Hao arrives with fifty thousand Black Cavalry. Fewer than three hundred Feather Forest soldiers remain by the time of the rescue. Lin Junyu personally gathers his fallen soldiers’ bodies, while the larger victory drives the demons from the Southeastern Plains. 20

Faked Death and Deep-Sea Exploration

After his brothers bring an execution order, Lin Junyu stages his death rather than submit to the imperial court. He later departs across the sea, discovers ancient technology and psionic knowledge, and returns after centuries of survival and study. 21 28 34
