Chapter 751: Bill and Charlie's Absence

Before long, Alastor Moody and Ron returned as well, and The Burrow became crowded again.

The talking woke George from his faint. He felt along one side of his head with his fingers, then looked at the concern in everyone's eyes and naturally broke into a smile.

"At least now you'll finally be able to tell Fred and me apart."

He seemed to be trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere with a joke.

"Only temporarily," Fred said with a grin. "Once Dad gets some restorative potion from St Mungo's Hospital, he'll be able to make your ear grow back."

"Your consolation is full of holes, brother." George raised an eyebrow. "I was hit by Dark magic. Potions are useless."

"Oh? Are you sure?"

"Of course, I—" George seemed to realize something and reached up to touch the side of his head again.

Something was wrong. That bone-chilling pain had vanished. Though he could still clearly feel that one of his ears was missing, it no longer hurt.

Even when he touched it lightly, the wound had completely healed.

"Surprised?" Fred said with a smile, then told George what had just happened.

After hearing it, George's eyes suddenly lit up. He looked at Silvan with heartfelt gratitude.

"Thank you," he said sincerely.

Although he had acted as if he did not care just now, that had mostly been to reassure everyone else. Who could truly not care about losing an ear?

"It was nothing," Silvan said.

Meanwhile, Harry and the others beside them were also discussing George's ear. They were wondering what kind of potion could be so miraculous that it could make an ear grow back out of thin air.
