But Seamus had done it. Even his incantation and wand movement at the time could not really be called wrong; they had merely been a little unorthodox.
As McGonagall watched Seamus's eyes light up and Silvan, who had rushed over after hearing the commotion, she suddenly felt that wands did not need to be made quite so well—at least, some talents truly did not need any further enhancement.
"Give my regards to your grandfather, Silvan." Before leaving, McGonagall deliberately walked over to Silvan and said quietly, "If we win this time, I hope he can keep at it for a few more years."

"I don't know either." Silvan scratched his head. "Maybe it reminded her of something from the past. I remember that when she first started school, the wizarding world was going through a long war too—well, probably."
