"How is this possible!?"
Cooler could not dodge in time. He spread his arms and caught his own ultimate attack head-on.
The massive energy sphere churned violently in his palms. His arms trembled intensely, and his body was pushed backward, sliding slowly across the ground.
"Do you think an attack of this level can defeat me?" Cooler gritted his teeth, clinging to his final shred of arrogance.
Son Gohan said nothing. He pressed his index and middle fingers together against his forehead. His golden aura compressed frantically, and a spiral drill of energy suddenly shot forth.
"Special Beam Cannon!"
Boom!
The massive energy sphere was pierced through the center. The already volatile energy detonated with a roar, right before Cooler's despairing eyes.
It was as if a sun had exploded. An blindingly intense white light filled the sky, and everyone instinctively squeezed their eyes shut.
A world-destroying aura engulfed everything ten thousand meters in the air. The deafening explosion echoed across the entire planet, drowning out all other sounds.
"No..."
Cooler took the brunt of the impact, struck directly by the core energy of the blast. His muscles shattered inch by inch, his tail was blown off, and purple blood poured from wounds all over his body.
He plummeted like a burning meteor, trailing a long plume of black smoke, and smashed straight into the ground, leaving him with only a faint, flickering life force.
"I hadn't even used my full strength, and you've already fallen."
Son Gohan deactivated his Super Saiyan state, descended to the ground, picked up Frieza, and tossed him next to Cooler.
"That was amazing! You won even in a two-on-one!" Krillin flew over and patted him on the shoulder.
"They're still alive? Let me finish them off!" Yamcha said, preparing to strike.
"Don't kill them. They will be very useful later," Son Gohan hurriedly stopped Yamcha.
If he had wanted to kill Cooler and Frieza, he wouldn't have held back. Controlling his strength to leave them critically injured and unconscious was far more difficult than simply killing them.
"Gohan, why keep such powerful enemies alive?" Tien Shinhan asked, puzzled.
"It is precisely because they are strong that we must keep them."
Son Gohan smiled. Some things were hard to explain, and he wanted to wait until later to tell everyone slowly.
Krillin and the others nodded and stopped asking. After all, these were the enemies he had defeated, and how to dispose of them was his prerogative.
Having spent this time together, they no longer viewed Son Gohan as a child, and they trusted him unconditionally with many things.
Son Gohan looked down at Frieza and Cooler. These two brothers had immense combat power and huge potential; both were important candidates for the Tournament of Power in the future.
Space-time was already in chaos. If everyone hadn't been well-prepared this time, they surely would have suffered a major setback on Namek.
Who knew what kind of monstrous opponents would appear in the future Tournament of Power? Therefore, Universe 7 had to go all out and send its strongest, top-tier fighters.
Seeing Son Gohan deep in thought, Chiaotzu assumed he wanted to save Frieza and Cooler. "I still have two Senzu Beans left," he said crisply. "I can feed them to them."
"That is not necessary. It would be a waste; as long as they don't die, it's fine," Son Gohan said, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
On the other side, under the fierce onslaught of Piccolo and Son Goku, King Cold finally fell.
"Spare my life! Please, give me a way out, and I will give you half the planets in the entire universe!" King Cold pleaded without a shred of dignity.
"Kamehameha!"
"Special Beam Cannon!"
Son Goku and Piccolo did not hesitate to unleash their ultimate techniques. The once-haughty King Cold was ultimately reduced to the dust of history.
Son Gohan did not go to save him. King Cold was too old, his potential was exhausted, and he had no value in living.
Frieza had killed Son Goku's father years ago, and now Son Goku had killed Frieza's father. The two were even.
"A few of you, come over and carry your two kings away," Son Gohan gestured to the Frieza Force soldiers in the distance.
He had kept Krillin, Yamcha, and the others watching these soldiers; he would kill anyone who dared to run.
Otherwise, if these soldiers scattered to every corner of Namek, it would be another disaster for the Namekians once Son Gohan and his group left.
Two soldiers flew over, trembling, hoisted Frieza and Cooler, and ran. A large group of them boarded a massive spacecraft and departed Namek.
"Only one last bit of trouble remains."
Son Gohan and the others arrived before Slug.
"I admit you are strong. Even the Frieza clan has been defeated."
Seeing that these people meant business, Slug's tone softened. He no longer spoke of ruling the universe.
"But I am immortal. You cannot do anything to me. Why don't we just leave each other alone and go our separate ways? Let's call it a friendship, how about that?"
"Not a chance." Son Gohan was so annoyed he laughed.
You killed the Namekians, made three wishes, and even killed the Eternal Dragon, and now you want to leave unscathed? There is no such thing as a free lunch.
"Then we shall fight until the sky turns dark. I will see this through to the end," Slug said, his bravado masking his fear.
"Immortality is a blessing for the strong, but for the weak, it is a cruel punishment."
Son Gohan flicked his wrist and tossed a small bottle onto the ground. The words "Demon King Seal" were written on it.
"Gohan, are you going to..."
Piccolo and the others saw the bottle and suddenly understood.
Slug instinctively felt that something was wrong and tried to flee, but it was too late.
"Evil Containment Wave!"
Son Gohan shouted, spreading his hands. A green vortex erupted, swirling like a tornado and pulling Slug into mid-air.
Slug's body was flattened and stretched, and along with the green stream of light, he was pulled into the small bottle.
Pop.
Son Gohan stepped forward and used a wooden stopper to seal the opening. Slug was thoroughly imprisoned.
"Not bad, Gohan. I had forgotten about that technique," Son Goku praised.
"So that's why you suddenly asked me to teach you the Evil Containment Wave back on Earth," Tien Shinhan realized, remembering the incident.
"But how did you know we would encounter an enemy with immortality?"
"I didn't know, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Learning a little extra never hurts," Son Gohan scratched his head sheepishly.
At that moment, a figure suddenly tried to flee into the distance. Son Gohan flashed forward and blocked his path.
"Uncle Vegeta, where are you going?" Son Gohan asked with an innocent expression.
"Kakarot's brat!"
Vegeta's eyes were dark, his fists clenched tight. He still refused to believe that this brat had defeated Frieza.
"You can't go back to the Frieza Force. Why not come with us to Earth?" Son Gohan suggested.
"Go to Earth with you? Why should I?" Vegeta felt humiliated. Facing these low-class warriors, he didn't even have the courage to strike.
"Don't you want to become a Super Saiyan? Don't you want to know why our strength has improved so quickly?"
"The answers are all on Earth," Son Gohan coaxed.
"On Earth? So you really did take a shortcut. I knew it—how could I, the proud Prince of all Saiyans, be left behind by low-class warriors?" Vegeta looked up abruptly, hope reigniting in his eyes.
"Hahahaha, so that's it. Once I become a Super Saiyan, I will surpass everyone and become the true number one in the universe."
"Fine. I will go to Earth with you."
