King Kai's Planet floated above a sea of clouds, its surface covered in lush green grass with a small path circling the entire world.
In the past, only King Kai and his two pets lived here, and one wouldn't see another soul for hundreds of thousands of years, but the last six months had been quite lively.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Son Goku and Piccolo attacked from the left and right, their fists and feet falling like a torrential rain and leaving behind a flurry of afterimages as they pincered Son Gohan.
Son Gohan's small figure dodged continuously, not even the hem of his clothes being touched.
He occasionally countered, every strike landing precisely in the openings of his two opponents, causing them to wince in pain.
"Use your full power, Son Goku!" Piccolo accelerated his attack, his breathing becoming ragged.
"I am already using my full power." Beads of sweat appeared on Son Goku's forehead.
Son Gohan smiled, suddenly spreading his arms as a tyrannical aura raged outward, sending the two attackers flying.
"Hahaha, Gohan, you really are strong." Son Goku slumped to the ground, genuinely happy.
"What a monster." Piccolo panted heavily as well.
The three had been sparring frequently over the past six months, but the gap had only grown wider; now, even with the two of them teaming up, Son Gohan could easily fend them off.
However, this high-intensity combat had also significantly improved everyone's strength.
"Alright, that's enough for today."
King Kai held a book in his hand, bursting into laughter from time to time.
This book was a collection of crosstalk routines Son Gohan had written specifically for him, containing hundreds of segments to help improve King Kai's sense of humor.
"King Kai, how much longer until those two Saiyans reach Earth?" Son Gohan asked.
"Two more days." King Kai checked with the antennae on his head.
"Then we should probably head back to Earth; after all, it takes time to travel along Snake Way."
King Kai had already taught them everything he could regarding training, and the rest would depend on their own enlightenment.
That bald brute Nappa would destroy a city the moment he landed, so he had to be stopped in advance.
"Hmm, returning early is a good idea." King Kai nodded.
"At the current speed of Goku and Piccolo, it will take about a day and a half to finish Snake Way."
"As for Gohan, three hours will be enough."
Training as a trio was much more effective for increasing power levels than solitary, bitter cultivation.
Son Goku had originally only reached a power level of 8,000 after six months of training on King Kai's Planet, but now he had broken through to 10,000.
Piccolo's power level had also broken through to 7,500, while Son Gohan had surpassed the 100,000 mark.
If one added the assistance of the Kaio-ken, five-year-old Son Gohan could already contend with Frieza in his first form.
"Goodbye, King Kai, Bubbles, Gregory, thank you all for taking care of us!"
Son Gohan, Son Goku, and Piccolo stepped back onto Snake Way, their speed astonishingly fast.
"Dad, Uncle Piccolo, take your time flying; I'll go to Earth and wait for you." Son Gohan accelerated again, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
In front of Kame House, Krillin and the others, who had finished their training at the Lookout, were still racing against time to train hard.
Suddenly, they all stopped at the same time, staring in one direction with some terror.
"There's an incredibly strong aura!"
Sweat appeared on Krillin's face, and he felt as if his blood circulation had become sluggish.
"Did the Saiyans arrive early? Wasn't it said there were two of them?" Yamcha's expression was serious, looking somewhat puzzled.
"They're so fast!" Chiaotzu was pale with fright.
"They're coming toward us, and there are indeed two of them!"
Tien Shinhan's three eyes blurred as he caught sight of two figures, and he immediately assumed a fighting stance.
On the horizon, two black dots grew rapidly in the wind, and almost in the next instant, the two figures appeared in front of Kame House.
"Chi-Chi, Go... Gohan!" Krillin was shocked, never expecting that aura to belong to Son Gohan.
A few hours ago, Son Gohan had left Snake Way and rushed back to Mount Paozu immediately.
Upon learning that Krillin and the others were training at Kame House, he had carried Chi-Chi on his back and rushed here to save her from worrying alone at home.
Everyone relaxed at once, and Krillin introduced the child to Tien Shinhan and the others as Son Goku's son.
"Goku's son!"
Tien Shinhan and his two companions had heard Krillin mention at the Lookout that it was thanks to Goku's son that the Saiyan was defeated, but they had been somewhat skeptical.
Seeing him in person now, they were stunned; with such a terrifying aura, it seemed they wouldn't even need to step onto the battlefield with this child around.
"Hello, everyone." Son Gohan greeted them politely.
"Gohan, did you return from training on King Kai's Planet?" Krillin looked toward the horizon, not seeing anyone else.
"Yes, Uncle Krillin, I came back first; Dad and the others are still behind."
Krillin and the others were very excited to hear this; if Son Gohan had become this strong, Goku and Piccolo wouldn't be far behind.
Earth should be safe this time.
Everyone entered Kame House, where Bulma, Master Roshi, Launch, Oolong, and Puar were all gathered together.
With Bulma there to keep her company, Chi-Chi would have someone to talk to when Son Gohan and the others went to fight Vegeta.
After a night of celebration, the next morning, Son Gohan took Krillin and the other four to East City, the place where Vegeta and Nappa would land.
Near noon, Son Goku and Piccolo also arrived at the designated location, following everyone's aura.
"Great, this is the first time everyone has been together since Goku got married." Krillin danced with joy.
Facing the crisis on Earth, the Z Fighters had gathered once again.
At 11:43 a.m., two single-person space pods descended from the sky like two meteorites, crashing into the center of East City and causing the entire city to shake.
Fortunately, Son Gohan and the others had evacuated the crowd in advance, so there were no casualties.
The two space pods opened slowly, and Vegeta and Nappa stepped out, their expressions showing some surprise as they saw the Z Fighters surrounding them.
"They actually predicted our landing spot." Vegeta sneered, not taking these people seriously at all.
"They are all experts with power levels over a thousand." Nappa scanned the crowd, the numbers on his scouter jumping continuously.
Son Gohan, Son Goku, and Piccolo had naturally suppressed their power levels, appearing to be only around a thousand on the surface.
"Hey, why don't we go somewhere else to fight?" Son Goku spoke up, fearing that the battle would harm the innocent.
"Why go through the trouble? I can level this place in an instant!" Nappa laughed cruelly.
He extended two fingers, condensing an extremely powerful aura on them, ready to destroy East City.
"Bang!"
Before Nappa could act, Son Gohan appeared in front of him like a teleportation, kicking him into the sky and sending him disappearing like a shooting star.
"A fool who only knows how to destroy."
"Everyone, follow me."
Son Gohan flew toward the wilderness on the outskirts of East City; he hadn't kicked Nappa to death because he wanted to leave him for the others to practice on.
Son Goku and Piccolo were unfazed, following him naturally.
Even though Yamcha and the others had been mentally prepared, they were still severely shocked, but they followed along nonetheless.
Vegeta stood alone, his expression shifting between light and shadow; he knew Nappa's strength, so how could he be so easily defeated?
"I am the Prince of the Saiyans; it is impossible for a Saiyan stronger than me to exist!"
