The Bulma residence in West City occupied a massive area. The main building, a yellow dome, bore the Capsule Corp logo and was surrounded by various buildings of vastly different styles.

This was where the richest person in the world lived; the entire property resembled a giant technological paradise.

Bulma's mother was watering flowers in the garden when suddenly, the sun above was blocked by a large shadow. She looked up.

"Oh, it's Goku."

Panchy looked only to be in her twenties. She squinted her eyes and spoke in a very gentle tone.

Son Gohan and Son Goku had brought two spaceships and landed them on the ground. Fortunately, Bulma's estate was large enough.

Piccolo and the others had already gone their separate ways. Since it would take time for Dr. Brief to modify the gravity rooms, Son Gohan decided to wait until the modifications were complete before notifying them.

"Is this Gohan? My, he's grown so much." Panchy crouched down and patted Son Gohan on the head.

"Hello, Grandma Panchy."

Son Gohan felt she didn't look like Bulma's mother at all, but rather like Bulma's sister. It really was nice to be rich.

Dr. Brief had certainly robbed the cradle.

"Bulma's mom, is Dr. Brief around? I'd like to ask him to modify these two spaceships," Son Goku asked, seeing no one else nearby.

"He's in the atrium. I'll take you there."

The three of them crossed a large garden and arrived at the atrium, where they saw Dr. Brief repairing some equipment.

"Honey, Goku and Gohan are here!"

Panchy called out, then turned around and said, "I'll go get you some drinks."

"Goku, what are those things you've brought?" Dr. Brief asked, a black cat perched on his shoulder and a cigarette dangling from his mouth.

"It's like this..."

Son Gohan explained the situation, asking Dr. Brief to modify the two spaceships by installing artificial gravity devices.

He also requested that a gravity room be built on the ground that could accommodate multiple people for training.

"Saiyan technology, this is truly a precious treasure!" Dr. Brief leaned in close to the spaceship and tapped it with his hand.

"Don't worry, I can finish the modifications within ten days."

"Then I'll leave it to you!"

After receiving their answer, Son Gohan and Son Goku left the Bulma residence, picked up Chi-Chi at Kame House, and the family of three returned to Mount Paozu.

During these ten days, the Z Fighters finally relaxed after a long time, enjoying their own lives.

The afternoon sun spilled into a small wooden cabin on Mount Paozu, where Son Gohan was buried in his test papers. The rustling sound of his writing never faltered for a moment.

Beside him, Chi-Chi and the tutor looked tense.

Because the Son Goku family lived in an isolated place, they had always hired private tutors for Son Gohan before he started high school.

"I'm done." Son Gohan felt relaxed and comfortable as he handed the completed test paper to the tutor.

The tutor swallowed hard, took the paper to examine it, and felt his brain "buzz" as if it were about to crash.

"Teacher, how did Gohan do?" Chi-Chi asked nervously.

"All... all correct..." The tutor stood frozen in place. His glasses slid to the tip of his nose, and he didn't even notice they were about to fall off.

The questions on this paper were carefully selected high school problems, including trigonometry, solid geometry, and all sorts of other difficult topics.

There was even material on advanced mathematics that one would only learn in their first year of university.

A five-year-old child had not made a single mistake; his steps were clear and rigorous, and every answer was perfect.

Even graduates from some prestigious high schools couldn't reach this level.

"That's amazing, Gohan!"

Chi-Chi jumped up and pulled Son Gohan into her arms, trembling with excitement as tears streamed down her face.

A few days ago, when they returned to Mount Paozu, Chi-Chi had hired a tutor to teach Son Gohan as usual.

Only half an hour later, that tutor had shaken his head and left their home directly, not even accepting the tutoring fee.

He told Chi-Chi that he couldn't teach this child; he had never even heard of such a genius.

Chi-Chi was half-skeptical and hired four or five more tutors, only for every single one of them to say the same thing.

Finally, she begged Bulma to specially invite a famous teacher from West City to come and test Son Gohan with a complex set of papers.

And so, this scene had unfolded.

"Actually, the limit derivation method I used is a bit complicated. Using a Taylor expansion would be simpler."

Son Gohan picked up his pen and scribbled down an extremely concise derivation process.

The tutor finally couldn't stand it anymore; he flopped into his chair and wiped away cold sweat. "I am very sorry, but I cannot teach this child either."

With that, the teacher grabbed his bag and fled Mount Paozu as if escaping. He had taught for his entire life and had never suffered such a blow.

"Gohan, you will definitely become the greatest scholar in the world."

Chi-Chi was so excited she immediately got up and called Bulma, hoping she could arrange a university for Son Gohan where he could be taught by professors.

"I'm sorry, Chi-Chi, but universities don't accept children that young. Let's wait until Gohan grows up a bit more," Bulma replied.

"How could this be?" Chi-Chi slumped into her chair, deeply disappointed.

Seeing Chi-Chi's reaction, a smile tugged at the corner of Son Gohan's mouth. Finally, he wouldn't be forced to study anymore.

He had been the one to coach Bulma on those polite refusal tactics so that he could devote himself entirely to his training.

In his past life, he had been an ordinary mathematics undergraduate, so he had done these test questions countless times—though it was still far too shocking coming from a five-year-old Son Gohan.

"Gohan, let's go fishing!" Son Goku laughed happily, shouldering his fishing gear.

"Let's go, Dad! Let's see who catches more!"

Son Gohan grabbed the fishing rod he had made himself along with some loaches he had caught by hand, looking like a standard little angler.

"Yo, Goku, Gohan, we've been waiting for you." Yamcha and the others appeared outside. They had arranged this long ago.

"Uncle Piccolo, aren't you bringing a fishing rod?" Son Gohan saw that Piccolo's hands were empty.

"Can't I just evaporate the water?" Piccolo didn't quite understand the point of fishing; he didn't even need to eat.

"What a boring Namekian," Krillin teased.

"Hahahaha!" Everyone laughed together and flew toward a large lake.

Chi-Chi heard their conversation and instinctively wanted to say something, but the words died on her lips. She could only watch helplessly as the group flew away.

Ten days later, Dr. Brief called to tell everyone that the spaceships had been modified and the gravity room at home was complete.

Son Gohan and the others rushed to West City, unable to wait to start their training.

"These gravity devices can exert a maximum of one hundred times normal gravity. Be careful when you use them."

"You can use either the gravity room at home or the gravity devices on the ships. Distribute yourselves however you like."

Since everyone's combat power was different, the gravity they could adapt to also varied.

In the end, Son Gohan trained alone in the gravity room, while Son Goku and Piccolo used one of the spaceships together.

Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Krillin shared the gravity device on the other ship.

And so, the days passed one by one, and the strength of the Z Fighters grew by leaps and bounds.

On a planet ruled by the Frieza Force in space, Vegeta was listening to the latest intelligence.

"Signs of life have been confirmed on Namek. Shall we send men to conquer it?"
