The Solar Star has burned since time immemorial, functioning as an eternal pure-yang furnace. Its depths contain an ocean-like reserve of pure-yang ancestral qi and transformations of numerous primordial ancestral qis. 352

It was once the seat of the Solar Palace, which stood beneath an enormous Fusang Tree. The palace was later reduced to ruins: its restrictions dissipated, its structures collapsed, and its pure-yang flora withered. The Solar Star also contained the Solar Divine Pool, twin Fusang Trees, thirty-six Solar Gold-Crystal Divine Towers, Purple Cloud Abyss, and the Lightless Divine Domain. 160 288

After a period without a master, Yan Emperor Shennong refined part of the Solar Star's origin and took control of it. This granted the Flame Emperor lineage a major opportunity and allowed Yan Ju, as a Sun God, to refine part of its origin as well. 283

When the Solar Star fell into disorder and its true solar fire threatened heaven and earth, Yan Ju led seven gods to suppress the fire and return the star to its proper position, restoring the cycle of moonrise and sunset. 287

Yan Ju later rebuilt the Solar Palace and assumed its authority. He personally drove the Solar Star across the heavens, but its daily movement placed a severe and continuous burden on his divine power. 288 294

An attack destabilized the solar singularities within the Lightless Divine Domain, threatening to rupture the domain and scatter true solar fire across the world. To contain the disaster, Yan Ju merged with the Solar Star, using a Nine-Colored Taiji Diagram and ultimate-darkness divine radiance to suppress the singularities. The Solar Star subsequently shone with faint nine-colored sunlight. 295

Yan Ju eventually emerged from the Solar Star with the aid of the Solar Divine Mirror, though the star's origin continued to provide him power far beyond that of an ordinary True One Divine Realm cultivator. 410
