History

Konoha was founded through the joint leadership of the Senju and Uchiha Clans alongside other ninja clans. Hashirama Senju built its first residence with Wood Release on the day the village was officially established. 235 237

The village’s territory was formerly forestland divided by the Naka River, whose opposite banks housed the Uchiha and Senju territories during the Warring States Era. Their long conflict made the river a major battlefield before the clans became Konoha’s co-founders. 153

During the Second Shinobi World War, Konoha fought in the Land of Rain against Hidden Sand, Hidden Rock, and Hidden Rain forces. After its conflict with Hidden Rain ended, Sakumo Hatake’s command prepared a decisive offensive against Hidden Sand, supported by Tsunade’s reinforcements. 2 7 Konoha later emerged as the war’s victor. 50

Hokage Administration

Hiruzen Sarutobi governs Konoha as the Third Hokage. Major strategic decisions are discussed with Danzō, Homura, and Koharu. 89 173

Uchiha Clan Relations

The Uchiha Clan is one of Konoha’s two founding clans and became its foremost ninja clan after the Senju declined. 12 Despite this status, the clan’s relationship with Konoha’s leadership deteriorated over time.

Uchiha hawks once attempted a failed coup under Uchiha Setsuna. ANBU surveillance of the clan followed, while the Police Force’s exclusive control by the Uchiha increased their separation from the rest of the village. 171 172
