Garrosh's Visit

"Perfect timing, Chen. Come, come. I feel that my monk techniques still have many shortcomings. With a grandmaster like you, I'm sure you can guide me."

In the training hall of the Immortal Bastion, Rend trained in the arts of the monk under Chen Stormstout's instruction, integrating the various monk skills into his own style. Otherwise, the way he used chi was simply far too crude.

The monk skills Rend had used before had been all form and no substance, unable to unleash their true power. Chi was an immensely powerful force, and Rend had discovered that he could fuse rage and chi together.

More importantly, Rend had found that monk martial arts far surpassed those of warriors. Though their four-man team included a powerful warrior like him and Rexxar the Beastmaster, neither had ever gained the upper hand against Chen Stormstout. Chen's martial arts were simply too exquisite.

Rexxar the Beastmaster had once said that if they did not use energies such as rage and fought purely with martial techniques, even he and Rend together could do nothing against Chen Stormstout.

Just as Rend and Chen Stormstout were sparring, the portal from Orgrimmar in the Immortal Bastion's teleportation chamber, built and maintained by the Nightborne, suddenly lit up. A powerfully built Orc with brown skin stepped out, followed by several formidable guards.

"Chieftain Garrosh? I never expected you to come to the Immortal Bastion today." Malkorok was responsible for maintaining order in the teleportation chamber, and he had also been ordered by Rend to await Garrosh Hellscream, who could arrive at any time.

After the Mag'har Orcs returned to the Horde, both Thrall and Rend had invited Garrosh to visit the Horde's new homeland on Azeroth. Garrosh had first gone to Orgrimmar, then come straight to the Immortal Bastion.
