The moment Uldaman was discovered, it attracted the Explorers' League from Ironforge, the Reliquary from Silvermoon City, and the Dark Iron Dwarves' Darkforge Legion from Blackrock Depths. All three factions fought to excavate and survey Uldaman.
However, none of them found the powerful artifacts they sought within Uldaman. It was only after the Explorers' League and the Reliquary discovered an ancient model of Uldaman in the Hall of Maps that they learned what Uldaman truly was.
They immediately abandoned their investigations. Only the Darkforge Legion of the Dark Iron Dwarves, armed with nothing but a white paper, opened the doors to the Hall of Maps.
It was said that the Dark Iron Dwarves who entered the Hall of Maps were nearly wiped out. Even the survivors of the disaster dared not mention what they had encountered. Rumor had it that it was a Titan Keeper.
Yet this became a joke among adventurers. No one believed that a legendary Titan Keeper truly existed beneath Uldaman.
Rend knew it was true. Uldaman contained not one Titan Keeper, but two: Archaedas, King of the Earth, and Ironaya.
Reality was nothing like the game, where Archaedas, King of the Earth, and Ironaya were merely bosses in a five-man dungeon. In reality, they were genuine Titan Keepers, beings a rank above even the five Dragon Aspects. A starving camel was still bigger than a horse. Though the two of them were exceptionally weak, they were not opponents a band of tomb raiders and adventurers could defeat.
"This is the place, High Warlord Rend. As long as you insert the key into this model of the structure, you can summon the Titan Keeper Ironaya. Unfortunately, the Explorers' League took the key. If we wish to summon Ironaya, we can only use another method." High Examiner Tae'thelan
