Background / History

Tie Li was born into an ordinary blacksmith family in Manno City. Before his martial soul awakening, he worked at the forge despite being a child, hoping only to awaken enough innate soul power to change his family's circumstances. He awakened the Forging Hammer with innate level two soul power—an unusually favorable result for a tool-type martial soul—and began cultivating with a Martial Soul Hall meditation method 1.

His father, Tie Niu, spent the family savings to enroll him in Manno Junior Soul Master Academy. Tie Li divided his time between study, meditation, and blacksmithing, discovering that cultivation beside a forge was especially effective. He reached level 10 a year earlier than expected and entered Soul Hunting Forest to seek his first ring 2 3.

Separated from his group in the forest, Tie Li rejected a weaker ring and instead absorbed the ring of a severely injured Thunder Python. The roughly 400-year ring transformed the hammer's appearance, increased its weight, and gave it a lightning attribute.
