The current clan leader, Zhengye, Elder Tenghong, Second Elder Changhu, Third Elder Yashiro, and Fourth Elder Fugaku-the position previously held by Zhengye-had gathered.

Zhengye nodded as though it were obvious.
"Exactly. If I still have to work after climbing all the way to clan leader, what was the point?"
Fugaku didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "It's not about working. You can exercise your authority."
Zhengye raised a finger and wagged it.
"Wrong. You spent too much energy on things like this, which was exactly why the Third Hokage could lead you around by the nose."
"As the Uchiha clan leader, all I need is to be strong enough."
"From now on, I'll only adjust our overall direction. You'll still be responsible for all the administrative details."
They exchanged glances and nodded in agreement. After all, the Uchiha's current standing in Konoha had been earned through Zhengye's strength.
"Konoha is relatively peaceful now. Patrolling with the Police Force is basically no different from being on vacation."
