Background

Lu Tian originally journeyed east for ten thousand years in hopes of entering a Sage’s sect. Laozi ignored him, Yuanshi rejected him for his shallow foundation, and Tongtian accepted him only into the Intercepting Sect’s outer court. There, his Western origin and low cultivation made him a target of exclusion, humiliation, and repeated plots by other disciples. Unable to remain, he left the sect carrying a lasting hatred toward its outer disciples. 1 6

Jieyin and Zhunti accepted Lu Tian into the Western Teachings and gave him a place to cultivate on Spiritual Mountain. Zhunti bestowed the Three Worlds Maha Immeasurable Sutra, while Lu Tian developed the Wrathful Vajra Dharma Form and rapidly displayed exceptional comprehension despite his damaged foundation. 2 6

His foundation defect initially restricted his progress, leading Jieyin and Zhunti to send him westward to seek opportunities. During this period, Lu Tian used dream cultivation, the Zero World, and the Blood Sea Trial to repair his origin, develop his blade path, and acquire demonic inheritance from Luohu. 5 6 9 13

Lu Tian is persistent and intensely self-driven. His flawed foundation, rejection by the Three Pure Ones, and abuse in the Intercepting Sect do not break his resolve; instead, they shape his determination to reach the pinnacle of the Primordial World. 1 6

He is outwardly humble, especially toward senior disciples and Sages, but is neither passive nor forgiving. He deliberately returns to the Intercepting Sect after gaining strength, publicly exposes the disciples who persecuted him, and settles his blood feud before Tongtian. 3 33 34

Lu Tian is also calculating in sectarian and political matters. He secretly guides Human Race tribes westward, recruits powerful figures to the Underworld, and frequently turns karmic connections and opportunities into advantages for the Western Teachings. 30 53 83
