Background

Lin Yi transmigrated into the Naruto world and became Uchiha Yi, a six-year-old member of the Uchiha Clan. Before the system’s intervention, clan elders considered his bloodline too weak to awaken the Sharingan naturally and believed he would never amount to more than a minor shinobi. His parents had died, and he had been raised with support from the wider Uchiha community. 1 6 36

Yi’s sole advantage was the Ultimate Sharingan System, which created the infinitely evolvable Extreme Sharingan. He immediately dedicated himself to grinding ocular proficiency, accepting physical exhaustion and isolation as the price of survival and power. 1 2

After defeating Sasuke in an Academy spar, Yi sought out Might Guy, whose connection to Yi’s father allowed him to train under Guy’s methods. Yi used this training to develop the Enhanced Eight Gates and solve his early shortage of chakra. 2 3

Before the Uchiha massacre, Yi investigated the clan’s planned rebellion and was discovered by Itachi. Unable to defeat him directly, Yi escaped and negotiated an agreement: he would protect Sasuke for five years, while Itachi would grant him a future place on Konoha’s council. Yi survived the massacre by staying with Might Guy, but returned afterward to find the Uchiha compound being occupied by other villagers. 4 6

Personality

Yi is intensely pragmatic, ambitious, and power-oriented. From the moment he learns of the Extreme Sharingan, he treats nearly every decision as part of a plan to increase his strength, preserve his life, or gain leverage over stronger figures.
