Uchiha Xuan Yu and his allies defeated Hashirama Senju’s effort to preserve Sarutobi Hiruzen’s rule, while Hiruzen fled after his crimes were exposed. As Konoha’s clans rallied behind Xuan Yu, he subdued Hashirama and vanished with him.

• Hinata stopped Tobirama Senju’s Exploding Tags and injured his soul, while Shisui condemned Hashirama Senju for protecting Tobirama and rejected his authority.
• Hashirama activated Sage Mode and threatened to purge the Uchiha Clan, but Hua Yu and Hashira fought him and revealed their Wood Release and loyalty to Xuan Yu.
• Shisui tormented Tobirama and Danzo, while Orochimaru fought Sarutobi Hiruzen and Xuan Yu confronted Itachi, who died after apologizing to Sasuke.
• Uchiha Xia brought the dead Sarutobi Asuma and captured Konohamaru to Xuan Yu, who sentenced Konohamaru to death as Hiruzen watched.
• Hiruzen used the Reaper Death Seal against Orochimaru, but Xuan Yu stopped the Death God, restored Orochimaru’s soul, and destroyed the Death God before driving off another one through a rift.
• Xuan Yu exposed Hiruzen’s crimes and announced that the Sarutobi Clan would no longer rule Konoha, while he kept the village representatives in place to witness the coming changes.
• The Utatane Clan turned against Utatane Koharu after Hiruzen’s failure, while Hashirama offered to seal himself if Xuan Yu kept the Uchiha from ruling Konoha.
• Neji Hyuga, Hinata, Shino Aburame, and other clan representatives backed Xuan Yu, who restrained Hashirama and vanished from Konoha with him.

Xuan Yu and Hanayu defeated Hashirama Senju’s Thousand-Armed Buddha, and Xuan Yu exiled Hashirama after confronting him over the Senju Clan and his actions. Otsutsuki Hagoromo intervened to save Hashirama, and their clash exposed a coming threat from beyond the Shinobi World.

• Hashirama Senju summoned True Several Thousand Hands, but Hanayu raised a massive Thousand-Armed Buddha of her own and Hashira challenged Hashirama with the Eight Gates Formation.
• Hashira shattered Hashirama Senju’s Buddha before Hanayu took over the fight, overwhelmed Hashirama, and condemned him for abandoning the Senju Clan.
• As Sarutobi Hiruzen prepared to release the Impure World Reincarnation, Xuan Yu caught Hashirama’s departing soul and accused him of endangering Konoha and forsaking his clan.
• Xuan Yu sent Hashirama into a pocket dimension, where he repeatedly blasted Hashirama back as he tried to escape, until an ethereal voice pleaded for Hashirama’s life.
• Xuan Yu identified the voice as Otsutsuki Hagoromo, who manifested by absorbing Chakra from the Tailed Beasts, Sasuke, and Hashirama’s Buddha, then demanded Hashirama’s release.
• Xuan Yu and Hagoromo clashed over Hashirama’s punishment and Hagoromo’s hidden plans involving Asura and Indra’s Chakra, while Xuan Yu warned of the Otsutsuki Clan’s coming threat.
• Hagoromo held the rift open as Xuan Yu tried to close it, and Xuan Yu vowed to face the threat from beyond the Shinobi World while Hagoromo warned him against ruining his plan.
• Hagoromo attacked to protect Hashirama, but Xuan Yu countered his Thunder Dragon and Truth-Seeking Orb, while Naruto and Gaara questioned whether Hagoromo might seek control of the Tailed Beasts.

Uchiha Xuan Yu defeated Otsutsuki Hagoromo, foiled his plan to drain the Tailed Beasts, and protected Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara. Back in Konoha, Xuan Yu put Uchiha Hanjō forward as Hokage, strengthened his allies, and began investigating the Four Great Clans.

• Xuan Yu overwhelmed Hagoromo, exposed his plan to absorb the Tailed Beasts’ Chakra, and reversed the flow of Six Paths Power to strengthen Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara.
• Hagoromo tried to seal Xuan Yu with Chibaku Tensei and reclaim Naruto’s power, but Xuan Yu stopped him, took half his Six Paths Power, and left Hashirama trapped in the Pocket Dimension.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen revived Shimura Danzō, Sarutobi Asuma, and Sarutobi Konohamaru with Land of Lightning shinobi, then joined Danzō in plotting against the Uchiha.
• Xuan Yu returned to Konoha with the Akatsuki Organization, while visiting shinobi departed or chose to stay and observe the new situation.
• Xuan Yu rejected the Hokage position and persuaded Uchiha Hanjō to accept it, then gave Hinata and Neji Hyuga Six Paths Power.
• Xuan Yu promised to teach the Akatsuki Organization Sage Mode, helped Hua Yu and Hashira develop their abilities, and arranged a laboratory for Orochimaru.
• Xuan Yu ordered Uchiha Xia to remove Four Great Clans members from Konoha posts and investigate their misconduct.
• Uchiha Izumi reported that Utatane Koharu had arrived under escort, and Tenji Sen brought the bound clan head to beg forgiveness.

Xuanyu forced Konoha’s clans to answer for their crimes, while Sarutobi Hayashi led a punished faction out of the village. He then warned the other villages about Hiruzen, offered them Peace Tokens, and revealed his plan to build a city for most of the Shinobi World’s ninja.

• Xuanyu ordered Koharu to confess publicly and investigate her clan, then imprisoned her after she accepted responsibility.
• Shimura Chūrō brought Dansan before Xuanyu as a scapegoat, but Xuanyu exposed the other Shimura clansmen’s crimes and ordered their arrest.
• Homura surrendered to the Uchiha Police Force, while Hayashi persuaded more than a thousand Sarutobi Clan members to leave Konoha.
• Uchiha Xia stopped the Sarutobi procession, named the guilty leaders, and exposed their crimes, including Hayashi’s role in Sakumo’s death.
• Hayashi and his followers attacked the Uchiha Police Force but were defeated, and Xia sent the departing Sarutobi faction out of Konoha.
• Survivors reported that Hiruzen had attacked a Land of Lightning squad, prompting the Raikage, Dodai, and Killer B to investigate his appearances.
• Xuanyu warned village representatives that Hiruzen and forbidden ninjutsu threatened their villages, then offered Peace Tokens that could contact him and let him or Shisui travel to their holders.
• The representatives agreed to take the tokens to their villages, and Xuanyu revealed that he wanted to build a city large enough for most of the Shinobi World’s ninja.
