Background / History

In his original future, Yoru was an Uchiha who survived the destruction of his clan, which he attributes to Danzō’s schemes. He held no remaining loyalty toward Konoha’s upper ranks. After he and Naruto were defeated by Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Naruto transferred his remaining chakra to revive him; Yoru then awakened in the past during the Nine-Tails’ Attack with Naruto’s max-level account, vast chakra reserves, and perfect Sage Mode. 1

Rather than abandon the village, Yoru intervened in Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki’s Reaper Death Seal. He suppressed the Death God with sage chakra and a trace of Six Paths power, then exploited the seal’s contract by substituting a White Zetsu clone for Minato’s soul. Minato and Kushina survived. 3

Yoru openly defied Hiruzen Sarutobi’s attempt to seize Naruto, incapacitating the surrounding Anbu with Sage Mode chakra pressure. After overhearing Hiruzen and Danzō discussing plans to frame and weaken the Uchiha, he massacred Root operatives, destroyed Danzō’s Sharingan-implanted arm, and led the Uchiha Clan, Minato, Kushina, and Naruto out of Konoha. 4 5 11

He chose Iwagakure as the clan’s destination, judging Ōnoki’s hostility toward Konoha and political pragmatism more useful than friendship. Personality
