The next morning, West Street of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Chenshu Senju had just come out of a pharmacy, carrying several bottles of antidote and hemostatic medicine.

Only one day remained until the Chunin Exams finals, and there were increasingly more unfamiliar faces in the village. Besides nobles and merchants from various countries, quite a few rogue ninja had slipped in among them.

The Konoha Military Police Force was busy protecting the arena, leaving the outer districts with far fewer patrols.

As Chenshu Senju passed a street corner, a scream suddenly rang out ahead.

"Robbery!"

A rogue ninja wearing a headscarf shoved through the crowd, clutching several money pouches in his arms, with three companions following behind him.

One of them carried an unconscious young woman over his shoulder. Most of her outer clothing had been torn away, exposing her fair shoulder.

"Get lost!"

The leader waved a kunai and sneered. "Whoever dares block our way, I'll kill them!"

The nearby residents hurriedly backed away.

A fruit-selling auntie was a little too slow to flee and was kicked to the ground by the man. The apples in her basket scattered everywhere.

All four rogue ninja turned around at once.

The man had no chance to react before he was launched into the air. The woman was caught by vines and lowered steadily beside Chenshu Senju.

Chenshu Senju took off his outer robe and casually draped it over her.

"Still want to have fun?"

The smiles on the remaining three froze.

The leader reacted first, rapidly forming hand seals. "Earth Release: Rock Bullet Technique!"

More than a dozen rocks rose into the air and shot straight at Chenshu Senju's face.

Chenshu Senju did not even raise his eyelids.

A wooden wall erupted from the ground, blocking every rock bullet. Immediately afterward, dozens of vines burst from both sides of the street and instantly bound the three men's limbs.

The leader's pupils shrank as he finally recognized the person before him.

On the other side of the street, Kakashi closed Make-Out Paradise and jumped down from the eaves.

Chenshu Senju glanced at him. "How long have you been here?"

"Just arrived."

"Just in time to see her clothes fall off?"

The woman silently took two steps back.

At the end of the street, Chenshu Senju's steps paused slightly, but he did not turn around.
