Background / History

Sakura is pulled from her home while asleep and awakens in a dark, theater-like space with Kakashi and Sasuke. Frightened by the unexplained abduction and inability to escape, she initially believes they may have been captured by an enemy. The theater screen then begins displaying Naruto's dream. 1

Her first viewing exposes a dream version of herself confessing to Naruto and praising him as Konoha's strongest ninja. Sakura reacts with overwhelming anger, and the experience carries into reality: when she next meets Naruto, she attacks him and demands to know what he dreamed about. 2 5

As the Dream Theater recurs, Sakura becomes less afraid of it and begins treating the screenings as something like a movie. She enjoys being able to sit beside Sasuke without Naruto or other girls disrupting her, though Kakashi later warns her and Sasuke not to reveal the dream phenomenon. 19 16
