Background / History

The Ice Dragon King's remnant soul remained with the Icefire Dragon Bones at the bottom of the Icefire Yin-Yang Well alongside the Fire Dragon King. When Jiang Qingyu reached the lakebed seeking the bones, she restrained and interrogated him, initially mistaking him for a woman. She relented after he manifested the Ice Dragon King martial soul, regarding his possession of it as proof of a fated connection. 8

She proposed that Jiang Qingyu reconstruct her and the Fire Dragon King's bodies in return for their dragon bones and peaceful coexistence. Although the intended agreement was a peace contract, the formation she created became a master-servant contract instead; Jiang Qingyu became the master, while both Dragon Kings became his servants. 8 9

After Jiang Qingyu absorbed their god-level arm bones, the Ice Dragon King entered his sea of consciousness to recuperate. She and the Fire Dragon King can emerge as phantoms or human-shaped manifestations when needed. 9 11

In human form, the Ice Dragon King is a cold and noble woman whose appearance reflects her ice attribute.

Her attempt to form a peace contract accidentally binding herself and the Fire Dragon King into servitude is the clearest example of this flaw. 8 9 51

Despite her carefree attitude, she is proud of her status as a Dragon King and readily uses her seniority to protect Jiang Qingyu. She is also caring toward his cultivation, personally guiding his ice-fire fusion and urging him not to endanger himself through reckless experimentation. 11 15

She has a gluttonous side and is especially eager for Jiang Qingyu's cooking. Jiang Qingyu occasionally uses the master-servant contract to stop her and the Fire Dragon King from eating ahead of everyone else. 37 58
