Background and History

Qian Daoliu named Jiang Qingyu Holy Son after seeing his twin martial souls and exceptional soul rings. The seven Consecrations subsequently acknowledged him, and Pope Qian Xunji regarded him as his eventual successor 2 5.

His formal succession drew guests from numerous sects. After Qian Xunji crowned him, Jiang Qingyu opened the ceremony to challengers regardless of age and fought Tuoba Xi of the Holy Dragon Sect 41 42. He later sought dependable forces of his own: the Holy Dragon Sect pledged itself to him, while Dugu Bo joined Spirit Hall after Jiang Qingyu helped cure his bodily poison and advance his cultivation 48 49.

Jiang Qingyu also pursued pill refining. He worked with Yang Wudi of the Breaking Clan and brought the Nine-Heart Begonia Ye Family into Spirit Hall’s planned Pill Hall 52 86 90. Later, he passed Hell Road with Bibi Dong and Wang Qiu’er, gaining Divine Slaughter’s Domain 106.

After receiving the Destruction God King’s Divine Trial, Jiang Qingyu broke through to Title Douluo. He then joined Spirit Hall’s expedition against the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, dealt the decisive blow with the Destruction Scepter, and absorbed its ring and soul bone 114 117 128 129 130. At Sea God Island, Poseidon began transferring the Sea God Divine Position to him without requiring the traditional Nine Trials 132.

He invests in useful allies—giving Yang Wudi an immortal herb and helping Dugu Bo grow stronger—rather than keeping every valuable resource for himself 48 50 58. He can also be calculating: he feigned disappointment to secure the Emperor Flame Phoenix King’s voluntary sacrifice 82.
