Background

Jiang Nannan grew up with Jiang Mu under Mother Jiang’s care. Although Jiang Mu was younger and had joined the household after being picked up by Mother Jiang, the two lived as siblings. When Jiang Mu declined to attend an academy, Jiang Nannan chose to remain with him; they hunted soul beasts, sold their gains, and lived quietly at home. 1

She accompanies Jiang Mu to the outskirts of Star Dou Forest while he searches for his third soul ring. After a bet over whether he would call her “Big Sister,” she kisses him, delighted that he finally uses the title she wants. 1

During the Iron Fist Gorilla incident, Jiang Nannan fights beside Jiang Mu and is deeply angered when Bei Bei returns only to take Tang Ya away, leaving the siblings against a five-thousand-year soul beast. She later accepts Tang Ya’s apology only reluctantly and remains wary of her. 4 5 6
