The modern Loman Empire descended from the collapsed Great Loman Empire. Its predecessor imposed a common language, banned other languages, and maintained high-pressure rule until widespread uprisings brought it down; the surviving imperial family later formed the present Empire. 197

Under Loman's rule, imperial authority stands above individual rights: citizens are educated to regard themselves as belonging to the Emperor, while state propaganda promotes the Loman people as inherently superior to other humans. 284 415 The Empire's ideology frames former conquered territories as traitors or invaders, rather than peoples who resisted imperial rule. 415

Loman rejects the idea that ordinary people can change history. After watching The Lord of the Rings, he considered its portrayal of weak, ordinary protagonists politically dangerous; in his view, history belongs to powerful rulers, generals, and heroes. 439

The Empire later invaded the Aorian Duchy. Its initial advance was exceptionally rapid, capturing vast territory with armored forces, demon troops, and minimal effective resistance. 405 417

War Against the Continent

Loman expanded the conflict across multiple fronts, including the Cape Kingdom. Its occupation campaigns triggered guerrilla resistance and led neighboring powers to form the Anti-Loman Empire Alliance. 419

The discovery that Loman used captive humans as living components for demon control caused continent-wide outrage. The exposure united public opinion against the Empire and intensified demands for its overthrow. 421

Cultural Counteroffensive

Loman's apparent acceptance of surrender concealed his final plan: transforming himself through collective consciousness into a false god capable of resisting the coalition. The plan ended when Big Ivan destroyed his new form. 449 451
