Man Faced Demon Spider

As night fell once more, it meant that today's soul beast hunt had once again yielded nothing.

However, everyone was gradually getting used to it. After all, finding a suitable soul ring was no easy task.

And so, the group split into four parties. Xiao Wu and the Titan Giant Ape were the targets being pursued, Su Ge followed closely behind, Tang San came after him, and Zhao Wuji's group, slowed by their uneven speeds, trailed at the rear.

After shaking off Tang San behind him, Su Ge spotted a Flowing Shadow Leopard that was roughly over four thousand years old along the way.

This was a soul beast whose age could not be judged directly by its size, and it was quite suitable for Zhu Zhuqing. So he moved with lightning speed and subdued it.

After erasing the fur markings that could be used to judge its age, Su Ge knocked it unconscious and left the area.

With his speed, he could have easily caught up to the Titan Giant Ape, which was not running at full speed. But before that, he chose to prioritize the matters that required him to break away from the group.

After all, judging by the route and the division of territories, that thousand-year Man Faced Demon Spider should also be nearby.

With that thought, as he followed the route taken by the Titan Giant Ape, he silently expanded the range of his perception.

Its entirely black carapace gleamed faintly. If not for the sound of it brushing against leaves, it would have been a silent hunter stalking through the darkness!

The instant the Man Faced Demon Spider saw Su Ge, it instinctively raised its legs and stabbed toward him at tremendous speed!

Seeing that the Man Faced Demon Spider not only refused to submit but even dared to resist, Su Ge did not waste any time. He charged directly before it, flashed above it, and slammed one foot down onto its black carapace!

That seemingly incomparably sturdy shell shattered beneath his stomp. Purple-black fluid immediately sprayed from the wound, but just as it was about to land on Su Ge's leg, it was blasted away by a surge of Soul Power!

The Man Faced Demon Spider let out a pained wail. In the end, it could not even struggle before death, and its entire body collapsed limply to the ground, utterly dead!

With the Man Faced Demon Spider dealt with, Su Ge did not immediately inspect the corpse. Instead, he stored its entire body in the large-capacity Soul Tool he used to hold soul beast corpses.

After confirming that no one was nearby, he took out a note he had prepared in advance. Written on it were the coordinates of a soul beast.

At that location was a soul beast with an affinity similar to the Man Faced Demon Spider, but its age was more suitable for a third soul ring.

After pinning the note to a nearby tree with a dagger, Su Ge turned around once more and chased after the Titan Giant Ape.
