Xiao Wu is a hundred-thousand-year soul beast living in human form among soul masters. Su Ge states that he recognized her non-human identity when they first met at Nuoding Academy; he later reveals that Tang Hao also knows. 46

She arrives at Nuoding Academy as a work-study student and joins Dorm Seven, where she immediately seeks to challenge its new boss, Su Ge. 6 Although Tang San joins her challenge, Su Ge defeats them both without releasing his martial soul. Xiao Wu reluctantly submits to his authority afterward. 7
