Hibari watched in amusement and cut in. "Why bother with all these useless excuses? Uncle Hashirama, you and Princess Tsunade are two of a kind. Neither of you can blame the other. If I were you, I'd apologize properly and cut the nonsense."
Senju Tobirama laughed as well and stepped in to smooth things over.
Senju Hashirama promptly took the offered escape route, apologizing and making promises.
He had delivered this speech countless times, and everyone knew Uzumaki Mito simply wanted him to show some contrition. Once he admitted his mistake, most of her anger faded.
That settled the matter.
Hibari smiled and brought the conversation back around. "Uncle Hashirama, did you
