After the battle, the three squad captains gathered to discuss their situation.

"It had a full complement of four squadrons. They sent one after me, and that squadron has been wiped out. Uchiha Ling destroyed three of its squads by himself."

Suzuri looked at Uchiha Ling too. That boy kept surprising her.

Inuzuka Hara's Ninja Dog was dead. He found himself wondering whether he should train another.

Could Uchiha Ling have been right? Was there only so far a Ninja Dog could take him?

Was he going to become a rebel of the Inuzuka Clan and learn Ninjutsu too?

He didn't know whether he had any talent for Ninjutsu. If he was even halfway decent at it... He quietly made up his mind. Whether or not he raised another Ninja Dog, he ought to learn a few Ninjutsu techniques.

Inuzuka Hara continued, "What we need to do now is find Squadron Commander Yuma and let her decide.

"I think the most likely plan is to send someone to find a nearby Hidden Leaf Village Assault Unit immediately.

"Then we gather five Defense Squads and move with the Support Squadron to buy time until our Assault Unit arrives."

The others nodded. The Stone Ninja Squadron Commander had put them under so much pressure that they could hardly imagine how strong the Stone Ninja Battalion Commander might be.

And Uchiha Ling had killed that formidable Squadron Commander. His strength was absurd for someone his age.

Suzuri said, "My squad will come with you to find the Support Squadron.
