Background

Naruto is the son of Minato Namikaze and the vessel of the Nine-Tails. After Minato sealed the beast inside him during the Nine-Tails Attack, Naruto was ostracized and bullied by villagers as a “monster.” 3

Before joining Team 7, Naruto defends Hinata Hyuga from a group of bullies despite being outnumbered. Qingchuan Tianming intervenes in the fight, and Naruto invites both him and Hinata to Ichiraku Ramen, beginning his friendship with Tianming. 3 4
