Background / History
As a young Spirit Hall Saintess, Bibi Dong focused heavily on cultivation and did not study martial soul theory. Yu Xiaogang’s confident demeanor and borrowed theoretical insights impressed her, especially because he was willing to approach her when others were intimidated. She later used her position to grant him access to Spirit Hall’s library. 34
Bibi Dong became deeply attached to Yu Xiaogang and even considered eloping with him after Qian Xunji forbade their meetings. Her conflicts with Qian Xunji over the relationship led to severe punishment and her descent into darkness, while Yu Xiaogang fled Spirit Hall. 35
By the time she enters the chat group, Bibi Dong is the Level 99 Pope of Spirit Hall and inheritor of the Rakshasa God position. She initially remains obsessed with Yu Xiaogang, but revelations about his ignorance, manipulation, and future conduct steadily break that attachment. 2 25 34 42
The chat group’s arrival also removes the Rakshasa God’s evil thoughts from her. Bibi Dong acknowledges that without this change, she would have remained Yu Xiaogang’s strongest supporter and eventually given him the twin-martial-soul cultivation method—a future decision said to contribute to Spirit Hall’s destruction. 42
Abilities & Resources
Level 99 Soul Power
Bibi Dong is identified as a Level 99 Ultimate Douluo, placing her among the continent’s foremost soul masters. 2
- Her power and position make her confident that few people on the continent can threaten her. 2
- She believes Spirit Hall’s forces could be mobilized to locate those who antagonize her, though the Hall of Enshrinement does not fully answer to her commands. 9 10
- She claims that ordinary Teleportation would not be enough to evade her. 29
Rakshasa God Inheritance
Bibi Dong has inherited the divine position of the Rakshasa God. 2
- The Rakshasa God is classified as a first-level deity, below God Kings but above second- and third-level gods. 33
- Learning this ranking restores Bibi Dong’s confidence and strengthens her ambition to become a deity. 33
- The inheritance previously carried Rakshasa evil thoughts that reinforced her obsession with Yu Xiaogang; those thoughts are later removed after she joins the chat group. 42
Soul Bones
Bibi Dong possesses seven soul bones. 31
- She originally withheld soul bones from Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, fearing that stronger subordinates might defect. 31
- After the chat group challenges this reasoning and confirms their loyalty, she decides to reward them from Spirit Hall’s treasury. 31 33
Personality
Bibi Dong is proud, confrontational, and accustomed to being obeyed as Spirit Hall’s Pope. Her first reaction to the chat group is to challenge its leader, and she repeatedly threatens members who mock or oppose her. 2 5 10
Her confidence is tempered by caution when faced with forces she cannot understand. After the group leader reveals private details about her divine inheritance and Qian Renxue’s whereabouts, she abandons her initial arrogance and addresses him respectfully. 2 3
She is fiercely defensive of those and things she values, initially including Yu Xiaogang. However, she is capable of self-reflection: exposure of her past favoritism, poor treatment of loyal subordinates, and Yu Xiaogang’s deception leads her to admit fault and change course. 25 31 35 42
