Background / History

Di Tian has exercised actual authority over Star Dou Forest for several hundred thousand years, despite the Silver Dragon King’s position as the Soul Beasts’ supreme ruler. Myriad Demon King regards his authority as no less imposing than hers and trusts that he would not act against the Soul Beast race 35.

As humanity grew stronger and Soul Beasts declined, Di Tian visited the Far North and told the Titan Snow Demon King about the Gold and Silver Dragon Kings. He also met the region’s new Heavenly Snow Woman, later known as Snow Whisper 57 58 64.

Before meeting Yun Feng, Di Tian helped prepare the Ferocious Beasts’ infiltration of the Spirit Pagoda. He set the Spirit Ascension Platform’s spatial capacity high enough to contain Limit Douluo-level beings, allowing powerful beasts to conceal themselves inside it. The Spirit Pagoda was unaware that this supported a plan to gradually control human Soul Masters 29.

Personality

Di Tian is stern, authoritative, and accustomed to obedience. A cold glance from him is enough to pressure Myriad Demon King into compliance. Yun Feng and Bi Ji consider him overly serious, with Yun Feng suggesting that he should smile more 35 38.

His decisions prioritize the Soul Beast race over exclusive loyalty to either Dragon King. He initially refuses to oppose Yun Feng because both she and Gu Yuena are legitimate sovereigns, while privately judging Yun Feng to have greater potential. Nevertheless, he refuses to abandon Gu Yuena completely when her other followers leave, explaining that she would otherwise be too lonely 34 113.

He is particularly cautious about exposure to humanity and dealings involving human gods. He conceals Yun Feng’s existence partly to prevent Gu Yuena from confronting her recklessly, and warns Yun Feng that sea Soul Beasts may remain loyal to the Sea God 62 85.

Discovery of the Gold Dragon King

After Myriad Demon King reports the Spirit Ascension Platform’s collapse, Di Tian chooses to investigate without informing the Silver Dragon King 29.

He meets Yun Feng at Sun Moon Lake and confirms her identity through her dragon might and Divine Soul aura. Although she occupies the Silver Dragon King’s human incarnation, he refuses to reclaim it by force: both Dragon Kings are his masters. He agrees not to harm Tang Wulin and to send Bi Ji as a contact, then orders Myriad Demon King to watch Yun Feng secretly until she arrives 34 35.

Icefire Yin Yang Well Raid

Summoned to Heaven Dou City, Di Tian learns that humans have been using the Dragon Kings’ remains to nourish their own treasure vault. He carries out Yun Feng’s plan to destroy the Tang Sect facilities and retrieve the remains within a fifteen-minute window 64 65.

Wearing a mask and suppressing his recognizable abilities, he defeats the guardian, captures the immortal herbs, excavates the well, and removes the skeletons. Before departing, he falsely identifies himself as the Holy Spirit Cult’s “Dragon King,” directing suspicion toward the cult rather than the Soul Beasts 65.

Yun Feng subsequently entrusts him with the captured plant-type Ferocious Beasts. He oversees their cultivation of immortal herbs and keeps the arrangement hidden from Gu Yuena 66 67.

Intervention Against Dark Blood Demon

Di Tian answers Yun Feng’s summons during the ambush by Dark Blood Demon, Na Nali, and Black Empress. His arrival prompts Black Empress to flee, while his attacks break Dark Blood Demon’s Battle Armor 83.

He blocks escape through spatial sealing and destroys Dark Blood Demon’s body with his claws. Yun Feng then devours the resulting blood mist. Dark Blood Demon survives the encounter, later appearing severely weakened 84 86.

Afterward, Di Tian provides heart’s blood for Yun Feng’s proposed custom Battle Armor and agrees to collect samples from the other Soul Beasts 85.

Divided Allegiance Revealed

When Gu Yuena senses Soul Rings being added to the Silver Dragon Spear, Di Tian urges caution and contacts Bi Ji to investigate Yun Feng’s activities 93 94.

Yun Feng’s televised transformation eventually exposes the secret. Di Tian admits that he, Bi Ji, Bear Lord, and Myriad Demon King have long known her identity. He offers to accept punishment, but Gu Yuena declines and asks him to arrange a meeting with Yun Feng 102.

Remaining with Gu Yuena

Di Tian transports the two Dragon Kings to a private gathering of the Ferocious Beasts. As Bear Lord, Myriad Demon King, and Zi Ji move toward Yun Feng, he stays with Gu Yuena—not because he considers her the better leader, but because he cannot leave her entirely alone 111 113.

He nevertheless returns Yun Feng’s cultivated herbs and the sealed Dragon King remains. He explains that Soul Beasts should neither divide nor fight among themselves, and continues hoping the two sovereigns can cooperate 113 114.

During their later duel, he checks its progress with Myriad Demon King and insists that neither Dragon King attract human attention. At the same time, he helps conceal the Myriad Beasts Platform during the Spirit Pagoda’s investigation 121.
