Organization

War God Hall is a major Federation-supported organization based in Bright Capital. Unlike financially independent factions such as the Tang Sect and Spirit Pagoda, its funding is supplied by the Federation and its spending is subject to Federation regulations. Its resources nevertheless extend across much of the continent. 14 15

The Hall's members, the War Gods, undertake missions across the continent. Chen Xinjie can recall all of them to Bright Capital for urgent deliberations, including members pursuing threats such as the Holy Spirit Cult. 11

Leadership and Personnel

• Chen Xinjie — Hall Master; personally tested Yun Feng at the Blood God Legion and named her his successor. 6 11

• After Yun Feng's succession was approved, the Hall ordered that no fewer than two War Gods guard her whenever she travels. 11

Yun Feng's Succession

War God Hall first took notice of Yun Feng after Aolai City reported her innate full soul power and Golden Dragon Spear martial soul. Following Ao Rui's recommendation, Nangong Yi and Jiang Zhanheng personally recruited her and promised to provide her with the best education in Bright Capital. 3

The discovery that Yun Feng wielded both the Golden Dragon Spear and Silver Dragon Spear caused nearly every War God to return to headquarters. Both weapons exerted supreme dragon might and could devour life energy. 4

Chen Xinjie regarded Yun Feng as a potential answer to the Hall's lack of a younger-generation pillar. He brought her to the Blood God Legion to verify whether her power could be used against the Abyss, despite strong objections from several War Gods concerned for her safety. 6

At the Legion, Yun Feng's Golden Dragon Spear destroyed Abyss creatures and transformed their abyssal energy into life energy rather than allowing it to return to the Abyss Plane. Her actions earned her the title “Golden Dragon Princess.” 8 9

After returning to Bright Capital, Chen Xinjie convened all War Gods and publicly declared Yun Feng the next-generation successor to the Hall Master position. Though Long Tianwu initially considered the appointment premature, the War Gods unanimously supported it after Chen Xinjie revealed Yun Feng's ability to devour abyssal energy. 11
