Background
Chu Yi was originally a man from Earth. After losing consciousness during a fight, he transmigrated into boundless Chaos and became the smaller of two embryos nurtured by the Primordial Chaos Azure Lotus. His elder brother, Pangu, absorbed 99.99% of the lotus's origin at birth, leaving Chu Yi with a far weaker foundation but under Pangu's protection. Chu Yi also received a choice system and chose continued development over immediate birth, prioritizing survival and future strength. 1
While still an embryo, Chu Yi supported Pangu's decision to open heaven and earth, persuading him that creation would bring boundless merit and preserve existence beyond Chaos's eventual calamities. When four Chaos God-Demons attempted to devour him, Chu Yi used the supposed Three Corpses Dao-Proving Method to exploit their desire for power, causing them to weaken themselves and eventually leave. The resulting deception spread among the Three Thousand God-Demons and contributed to Pangu's advantage in the God-Demon Slaying battle. 2 4 5 7
After Pangu opened heaven and earth and transformed into the Primordial World, Chu Yi grieved for his brother and swore to revive him if possible. Pangu entrusted him with the Chaos Pearl, the Nine-Turn Profound Origin Technique, and the responsibility of protecting the newborn Primordial World and leading it toward greater strength. 8 9
Chu Yi later emerged into the world but established Chu Yi Hall in Chaos Beyond Heaven rather than residing in the Primordial World. He considers the Heavenly Dao an influence that must be avoided and therefore generally acts remotely through divine abilities, avatars, and his Second Primordial Spirit. 10 11 29
Appearance
Upon emerging from his embryo, Chu Yi appeared as a tall, upright man with a well-proportioned physique, defined musculature, and a masculine yet handsome face. His aura was formidable from the moment of his birth. 10
- Tall and upright build.
- Flawless muscular definition.
- Masculine, handsome features.
- Exudes a powerful and intimidating aura. 10
Personality
Chu Yi is cautious, calculating, and intensely survival-minded. Before his birth, he deliberately chose to remain an embryo rather than expose himself to the Chaos God-Demons, and after the creation of heaven and earth, he kept his true body outside the Primordial World to avoid the Heavenly Dao's influence. 1 7 10 29
He is also manipulative when necessary. Faced with enemies vastly stronger than himself, he fabricated a path to Dao-proving, played the four God-Demons against one another, and later concealed his intervention by controlling Hongjun through his Second Primordial Spirit. 4 5 25 28
Despite his pragmatism, Chu Yi is deeply protective of Pangu's legacy. He grieves Pangu's death, vows to protect the Primordial World, saves and mentors the Three Pure Ones and Twelve Ancestral Witches, and treats threats against them as personal affronts. 9 13 20 25

Nine-Turn Profound Origin Technique
